Hi, I’m Ellen Walker, founder and principal of Ellen Walker Design Group, which serves the Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary areas. I’m obsessed with creating beautiful spaces, but transforming rooms from ordinary to extraordinary is not the only thing that speaks to my soul . . . every aspect of your place must be entirely functional so you can truly live it. I’m here to help you imagine or recreate the spaces in which you live or work.

Ellen's best quality is that she takes the time to get to know you and helps design and decorate your home with you in mind. She totally captured what style we wanted in both the renovation and the new build. With some designers, you can go into a home and recognize their work, because they put their own taste or spin on it. Not Ellen; she designs the home for you and only you. After deciding that we did not want to build at this time we knew that we wanted to keep our home looking current and that it needed a refresh (we have been in our home for 10 years). Ellen did an amazing job of both. Her ideas were great and the timeline of coordinating trades was amazing! Where her service was really outstanding for us was on “styling” our home, by moving and rearranging items which we wanted to keep and then purchasing items which totally fit our life style; we feel like we have moved into a new home!
