I love to travel, and I draw inspiration from nature, art, architecture, beautiful fabrics, and furniture wherever I happen to be. I approach design with a holistic view. Interior design encompasses more than a visual aesthetic; great design is characterized by functionality, timeless style, and a positive emotional connection with those who use a space. As an industry leader in incorporating the psychology of design into our projects, I solve people's design problems and I have access to experts in both design psychology and environmental design, allowing us to deeply understand what people need in their spaces in order to live better.
Throughout the years, I've worked on renovations ranging from one room to a full house, as well as new builds that vary from small to large projects, in both residential and commercial spaces. I'm obsessed with creating and remodeling spaces of all stories. It's truly about the details for me; anyone can have a beautiful space, but it's how each component flows together that truly transforms it into something meaningful.
I believe that interior design is more than just what meets the eye; great design is characterized by functionality, timeless style, and a whole lot of personality.
Outside of my design duties, I've had the honour to be invited as a regular guest speaker at the Red Deer Homeshow, where it's been incredibly rewarding to be able to connect with like-minded individuals within the industry. In an effort to encourage support and professional development within the local design community, I am the founder of a monthly networking group called "Designer's Alliance of Central Alberta". This is a group where designers can come together to share their wins and their challenges while learning a few tips from those who have walked the path before. This has truly been an extraordinary experience where I have come to know so many talented individuals over the years.

During my 27 years as an interior designer, I have developed relationships with leading contractors, suppliers, and trades workers that I wholeheartedly trust to actualize our most complex design plans. I'm a passionate interior designer who is driven to make positive changes in people’s lives. My goal is to create functional and current design solutions. Being an avid painter, I take an artistic approach when creating design concepts. I look to nature for inspiration and use my creativity to adapt to the needs of each client. I'm flexible and can design in many different styles.
I proudly graduated from OCADU in 2015, majoring in Environmental Design and minoring in Furniture Design. My broad education and experience allows me to maintain an open mind, well rounded approach to design. I truly believe that in an evolving world, design should stand the test of time.
